Wordpress Blog Traffic

Hey, I had a few questions that I hope you can help me out with.

My website has been launched for almost one month now, and I have almost no traffic, I rank for no keywords although for 15 posts I use low competition keywords and write unique articles consisting of no less than 400 words and all have a good rating by wordpress SEO Yoast, with plenty of backlinks.

Now for my questions...
When did you blog start to receive traffic?
after how many posts did your blog receive traffic?
How long did it take you to rank for a certain keyword?

I know all of my questions depend on many factors, but I want to get a general idea, nothing is more painful than writing articles that no one reads/finds.

It's going to take time and consistency to see traffic from organic search. In the meantime, try looking for other ways to draw traffic to your blog to help you stay motivated when you log in to check your analytics reports.

One thing I question is the fact that you say these posts have plenty of backlinks, but that the blog has only been launched for a month. I won't speculate as to what types of link building you're using, but just remember that there are certain ways of building backlinks that aren't going to do you any favours if your goal is to get in good with Google.

I've seen blogs in the past start receiving organic search traffic in a matter of days, and I've also had some that took months and months. I have no specific data to point to the difference maker, but the one thing I can tell you for certain, is that from an organic search standpoint, the one that did the best, the fastest, (which reviewed musical instruments) had buy far the most consistent content creation schedule.

Just keep on writing. I know it isn't a sexy process, but consistently putting out high quality content is the best way to go. It might not be fast, but in the end, the traffic that it generates will be far more sustainable than any gimmick.
